Louis Armstrong grew up in the battlefield area of New Orleans. His first cornet was paid by a jewish family and he learned to play by the colored waifs and King Oliver. After the chicago years, the Hot five and Hot Seven, he performs a scat song after loosing the sheet of paper with Heebies Jeebies lyrics. He also sang with Ella, was nicknamed the king of the Zulu in 49, cornets, trumpets and huge mouth with two build-in satchels.
